Principal Lawyer
Tania Noonan is a versatile senior lawyer with over 20 years of experience in commercial litigation, financial services regulation and investigations, insurance litigation and advice (both as defence and coverage counsel) and corporate governance and risk management.
Her group litigation experience includes the management of a portfolio of group litigation matters on behalf of a large Australian financial services institution and its clients.
Prior to joining Phi Finney McDonald, Tania was a Senior Legal Counsel – Litigation and Regulatory Disputes in a large Australian financial services firm and was previously Special Counsel in private practice in a major Australian law firm and a boutique commercial litigation and insurance firm.
Tania has a strategic and pragmatic approach to litigation informed by a career of managing litigation from a variety of perspectives gained from working within plaintiff and defendant law firms and as in-house counsel representing corporate plaintiffs and defendants and their stakeholders.
Tania focuses on progressing the firm’s litigation projects through the production of high quality legal work, while also playing an active role in the supervision and professional development of the firm’s junior lawyers and paralegal teams.
