Ellen Roberts is a lawyer in Phi Finney McDonald’s Melbourne office. She has a strong interest in achieving public interest outcomes through creative legal problem-solving and the power of class actions.

Ellen has a background in legal research, where she has held roles at Maurice Blackburn, and working alongside barristers on human rights and criminal matters. Prior to joining the firm, Ellen was Associate to Deputy President Gostencnik at the Fair Work Commission, and a law clerk at Australian Government Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution – Civil Claims team, where she worked on immigration matters arising out of the federal government’s offshore immigration regime.
