Craig is widely regarded as one of Australia’s pre-eminent data and information technology professionals. Craig is an expert in IT forensics and data interrogation with 25 years of experience. He has worked on and managed teams on a range of computer forensic, electronic discovery and data analytic engagements across Australia and South East Asia.

Craig is a leading innovator, in Australia and globally, in the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence in investigations and legal matters.

Craig joins Phi Finney McDonald from KordaMentha, where he worked on a number of significant engagements involving the use of data and technology to allow informed decision making, and to improve efficiency in the management of electronic information. He has been engaged in expert and consulting roles by plaintiffs and defendant firms in relation to significant legal matters, including some of the larger class actions.

Craig will manage Phi Finney McDonald’s use of electronic data to improve the firm’s processes, efficiency, and client experience. He will also use his IT forensic skills to guide the firm’s litigators through electronic discovery reviews and contested discovery applications.
