What lawyer didn’t start their journey with flushed cheeks and a desire to “make the world a better place”? Well, it’s never too late. Fledgling law firm Phi Finney McDonald is “Now Recruiting”, in a pitch set to further shake foundations at the troubled former home of its founders.

The self-described boutique class action firm, led by former Slater & Gordon “lifer” Ben Phi (the wunderkind who rose to lead its litigation arm) and fellow top guns Odette McDonald and Tim Finney, is “looking for people who want to make the world a better place”, touting “excellent remuneration and benefits”, a “belief in flexible working arrangements” (who doesn’t love the freedom to work on weekends) and a “fun environment” that values diversity.
