Lawyer

Sofia is a committed plaintiff class action lawyer, passionate about bringing accountability to corporations and institutions and providing excellent client service.

Sofia began her journey at Phi Finney McDonald as a paralegal and is now working on large-scale and complex litigation. She has a keen interest in human rights furthered through her studies of international human rights law while on exchange at the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom. Her commitment to social justice has also been informed by her previous legal experience working on historical institutional abuse claims and volunteering at a community legal centre assisting vulnerable clients.

Sofia has obtained a Diploma of Advanced Portuguese as a Foreign Language and speaks Portuguese fluently, a skill she uses in legal practice on relevant matters.
