Marcus Coleman is an experienced legal professional who has wide ranging experience working within large financial institutions in both Australia and the United States.

Marcus has accumulated extensive experience in the legal teams of investment banks and fund managers in both the United States and Australia. Prior to joining Phi Finney McDonald, Marcus worked for a large global funds management firm and was deeply involved across all aspects of its business, taking a particular interest in managing its involvement in shareholder class action litigation. Understanding the viewpoint of institutional shareholders on the very real impact upon investors caused by corporate misconduct imbued Marcus with a passion to ensure listed companies are held to account and properly compensate their investors when the company’s misleading conduct causes them loss.

As a Lawyer at Phi Finney McDonald, Marcus applies his expertise across a range of ongoing matters, investigates new class actions and supports his colleagues where needed to ensure the best possible outcome for clients.
